Here are some photos of the bike after putting on the Jesse side cases and the BMW System top case. Eric was very helpful in getting the bike ready for me. We spent Saturday and Sunday fabricating a new mount for the System Top Case to fit onto the new bike and wiring up the GPS, Heated Vest and an accessory 12v socket to charge the IPOD and cell phone. I am a little behind for my scheduled departure of 5am Friday January 11. I will probably leave Simi Valley around 10am and head for somewhere southeast of El Paso, TX for day one and then meet my riding partner Mike Tyree from Frenchburg, KY on Saturday evening in McAllen, TX. We plan on crossing into Mexico on Sunday morning for the real start to our adventure.
